Phanteks Eclipse 400s Rgb Controller Driver Windows 10 1
Hello,
I'm going to get either the Phanteks P400 or 400S, can't decide if the silenced is really that much more silenced?
I'm going to use the ROG STRIX B250F motherboard, which I'm assuming will offer good fan control and maybe PWM is the smart way to go? Hmm
Is it better to get the 400S for the fan controller option too, or no need, just use the fan control on the motherboard?
Also can't figure if I should go with 3x 120mm fans in the front, or 2x 140mm fans? Of course I'll use 1x 120mm in the rear.
I also can't figure if I should use PWM for the case fans or not?
I'm looking at these fans;
NF-F12 PWM;
http://noctua.at/en/products/fan/nf-f12-pwm
NF-A14 PWM;
http://noctua.at/en/products/fan/nf-a14-pwm
From a cost stand point, both fans are the same price, around $20USD each, so it's certainly cheaper for me to add in just 2x 140mm fans at $40USD instead of 3x 120mm fans at $60USD... Hmm again.... Then again 2x 120mm at the same costs as 2x 140mm fans LOL... Oh my head is spinning LOL...
One last thing, not sure with 2x 140mm in the front, or 2x or 3x 120mm in the front, I will have to much air flow in, and with only 120mm at the rear, not enough exhaust going out, and therefore need to place 2x 120 or 2x 140 at the top for extra exhaust out? I've been reading this negative/positive air pressure case thing is just some theory, not really fact, but not sure...
Any help would be greatly appreciated, because I'm really stuck here on this, LOL...
THANKS
